2022 Sneaker Trends

I don't know about you, but my footwear offering wouldn't be complete without a few solid pairs of sneakers. Sure, I love great pairs of slippers and sneakers, for example, but it's those trusty old schools that are the real go-tos for me thanks to their comfortable, cool, and easy nature. So naturally, I'm always down to chat about trending styles. And below, you'll find just that. Yep, I'm talking about the 2022 sneaker trends.

Some of the styles have been favorites for many over the last few seasons and will continue to rise in popularity. There are other silhouettes that feel particularly fresh. Old School

Theres a saying that that fashion trends always come back , so it should come as no surprise that what’s old is new again. Retro-inspired styles that once felt cheesy are now chic, a brand who took a huge advantage of this fact is Nike. Classics like the Nike Blazer Mid ’77 Vintage are back in both traditional and more fashion-forward colorways, so now you can pair your old school kicks with any and every style one can have. 

Velcro 

They might remind you of bowling shoes but velcro sneakers are in. Say goodbye to too-long laces once and for all! these don’t exactly look like the light-up sketchers you wore back in grade school the new versions are just as cool and functional as any other sneakers. They are so effective and the best on the go shoe you can just slip on the velcro down without the tedious job of re-tieing your shoes every time you take them off. 

White basics 

Bight and bold shoes can be fun and a wonderful statement in  look but you can not go wrong with a basic white kick, everyone knows white sneakers reign supreme! That said, our beloved plain white kicks will always be goated, Choosing one color instead of multiple helps the look feel minimal and fresh.  White shoes will go with anything and freshen up  and make your look feel complete, even though they are not the easiest to keep clean you can never go wrong with the basic Air Force 1s they almost every gen z kid owns.
